PTU 4.10.3 offline: datamine of the IAE Evocati build, Centaurus nerfed, Polaris buffed (October 28, 2026)
The PTU 4.10.3 is offline while CIG reportedly prepares a new Evocati build tied to the IAE, with a return announced for today. The datamine of this build points to a downward-rebalanced Centaurus, a buffed Polaris and several weapon adjustments, none of them official.
According to update-tracking channels, the Alpha 4.10.3 PTU (Wave 1) is currently offline. CIG is reportedly preparing a new build for the IAE, the Intergalactic Aerospace Expo, which must first go through Evocati testing. The PTU's return is announced for today, while the Live client remains on Alpha 4.10.2. No official patch notes accompany this build: the information below comes from dataminers and may change at any time.
A PTU offline, a version number still uncertain
Testers who had access to the Evocati build suggest it could carry the number 4.10.4, and that version 4.11 would not be tied to the IAE timeframe. These two points remain speculation: CIG has communicated neither a version number nor a schedule for this build.
Centaurus: less armor, more structure, less hydrogen
Here are the changes spotted on the Constellation Mk V Centaurus. Some of them are relayed in a Reddit thread dedicated to the datamine:
- physical armor: from 531 to 390 (-27%);
- energy threshold: from 380 to 330 (-13%);
- structure points: from 25,740 to 30,740 (+19%);
- hydrogen tank: from 46.8 to 32 SCU (-32%), with consumption divided by 4.5.
The Polaris moves in the opposite direction. Its physical threshold would go from 495 to 525 (+6%) and its energy threshold from 418 to 460 (+10%).
Missiles, modules and liveries
On the weapons side, the Raptor IV missile would be removed. The Stalker V, Reaper V, Scimitar V, Valkyrie V and Hellion VII would see their minimum firing distance go from 5 to 700 meters, which would change how they are used in combat.
Several ships are also affected. The modules of the Retaliator and the Apollo would be standardized at 200 SCU and 180 SCU per module. The Liberator's description would have been revised to highlight its role as a long-range vehicle carrier intended for civilian use.
On the cosmetic side, Luminalia liveries would appear for the Anvil Hurricane, Argo Raft, Banu Defender and RSI Aurora Mk 2. New “Raider Camo” crafting blueprints (Corbel, Palatino, Tailwind, Skarnov rifle, M3A, M4A and M5A cannons) would be distributed through Intersec's Vanduul Incursion missions.
The IAE in the background
Dataminers have also spotted an IAE 2956 collector's box, with coins associated with the Drake Corsair, Drake Ironclad Assault, Origin M80 and RSI Perseus. They also report a November bundle named “Geist Epoque II”, which would include a livery for the Meteor, a ship not yet available in game. CIG has announced nothing about these items.
The context
Alpha 4.10.3 was opened to Evocati and then to PTU Wave 1 on October 24, with the Vanduul Incursion missions at Nyx and the Skarnov LBCO rifle.
What we still don't know
Several questions remain. CIG has confirmed neither the version number of the new build, nor its content, nor its opening date. It is also unknown whether the Centaurus and Polaris values will survive to a public release, and whether the IAE-related items (collector's box, “Geist Epoque II” bundle) will be offered as they are. The next signal to watch is the PTU going back online, followed by any official patch notes or a Comm-Link detailing the IAE program.
