Ships spotted for sale on PTU 4.10.3: community inventory
Beyond the Basher and Gatac Tyilui officially confirmed as available, a Reddit post cataloging purchasable ships in-game on PTU 4.10.3 details prices recorded at sales counters: the Origin M80 at 7,980,000 aUEC and the Gatac Tyilui at 9,436,328 aUEC at Astro Armada (Area18), the MISC Starlite at 1,058,400 aUEC and the Aegis Tiburon at 37,001,732 aUEC at New Deal (Lorville), or the Drake Ironclad at 41,773,280 aUEC at Teach's Ship Shop (Levski). Final Fright: Day of the Vara's Last Call (CIG, November 7) reminds players there are only two days left to enjoy the Halloween festivities. Players can still survive two rounds of a skeleton invasion in Arena Commander to snag a Vanduul mask, and this is the final call for the pumpkin decoration contest: any qualified participation (inspired by werewolves, vampires, and Frankenstein's creature classics) receives a Hill Horror helmet as a reward. The email also highlights new monster-themed paint jobs for the Kruger Wolf, Drake Vulture, and Aegis Eclipse, alongside classic paint jobs making a return appearance.
Visual from the final stretch of Day of the Vara 2956, whose festivities end in two days (11/07).

💬 Spectrum: synthesis of most discussed topics
The major debates from yesterday (GDC armor, the Galaxy's fate, pledge taxation, grief in PTU) continue to grow, some nearly doubling their vote and reply count in a day, but with no new word from CIG. The forum opens up today especially to fresh topics: weapon design, multicrew, and some gratitude amid the complaints.
Weapon design sparks debate
Many small guns on a heavy fighter, why? (22 votes, 100 replies) questions the choice to multiply small cannons rather than opt for heavier armament on heavy fighters, a thread that apparently struck a nerve given its reply volume. The tone is also grating around the Anvil carrier hull with RSI Galaxy Bridge, this time specifically targeting the cockpit layout, and Asgard Cross Section reignites speculation about the interior arrangement of this yet-to-come Anvil carrier based on a cross-section image.
Multicrew, still a contentious subject
cig lets talk about it (multicrew) directly addresses CIG about contract balancing for multiplayer gameplay, a theme that finds a very direct echo on Reddit (see below) around reputation distribution among crew members.
Between gratitude and fundamental questions
A HUGE THANK YOU TO CIG AND EVERYONE WHO WORKED ON THIS! (46 votes) stands out from the more critical tone of the rest of the forum and openly praises the work accomplished. Conversely, why so much hate for the carrack? (30 votes, 33 replies, Concern) wonders at the persistent mistrust toward this long-established exploration ship.
💬 Reddit r/starcitizen (by theme, general sentiment)
The subreddit's tone is calmer than yesterday, between curiosity about the new ships available in-game, small gameplay frustrations, and plenty of self-deprecation. The IAE continues to fuel conversations, but more diffusely than with the previous day's shocking video.
The new PTU ships, under every lens
Beyond the detailed catalog already mentioned in the Patch Notes section, Railen or Tyilui illustrates the amused confusion of some players struggling to distinguish between the two Gatac ships, and On the grind for a ironclad tells the story of a player patient enough to earn his Drake Ironclad in-game rather than buy it, despite its recent price increase. The thread IAE Manufacturer's Banners relays the same manufacturer showdown banners detailed in the Leaks & Datamining section below.
Ship design, again and again
In direct echo of the debate launched on Spectrum, Anyone else getting tired of the guns being awkwardly externally mounted to every ship? laments the aesthetic choice to multiply weapons mounted externally to the hull, a complaint directed particularly at the Drake M80 and Marauder. In the same vein, I hope the Drake Marauder has an interior hopes this new fighter revealed for the IAE will have a proper interior rather than remain a simple "hangar queen," while Drake Cutlass.....er.....Marauder... has fun with its resemblances to the Cutlass.
The Drake Marauder, which some players hope will escape the hangar queen syndrome (11/07).
Multicrew and space combat datamining
Solo idris is not the problem, cig is critiques in detail the reputation distribution among crew members on shared missions, finding it unfairly penalizes multicrew gameplay versus solo, an observation that joins the Spectrum thread on the same subject. On the capital combat side, a Reddit post claims, with data extracted from the previous day's PTU 5.0 build, that CIG is tweaking the Javelin again and that the Annihilator cannon from Vanduul Maulers received a major damage boost: information not confirmed by CIG, to be taken as a simple data extraction.
Gameplay, performance, and little things
Landing at a outpost reports persistent stuttering when approaching outposts on PTU 5.0 Wave 1, while I can't wait for all these little mobile rest and relaxation stops looks forward to the arrival of small mobile rest points in the verse. With Genesis and PlanetTech I hope we get some genuinely inaccessible areas argues for genuinely impassable zones (dense forests, swamps) once Genesis technology is deployed, and This is why your ship doesn't have a bed relays a long-standing explanation of CIG's deliberate choice not to equip certain ships with beds.
Humor and community life
Kingdom Come Deliverance (with Spaceships) humorously compares the game's realism requirement to that of the same-named medieval RPG, When somebody shoots your 400i cuz you have a criminal onboard illustrates the misadventures of not-so-peaceful passenger transport, and Very misleading instructions has fun with unclear signage encountered in-game.
💬 Discord: what's circulating on the servers
Community channels remain focused on breaking down elements of IAE 2956 glimpsed these past days, with no new official announcements to report on news channels.
🕵️ Leaks & Datamining
Unofficial content from community datamining: subject to change, never confirmed by CIG.
IAE 2956 Final shortened to 4 days
A calendar update extracted from the files indicates that the IAE 2956 Final will ultimately last only 4 days, from November 23 to 27, instead of a full week as initially planned (23-30).
Updated calendar for IAE 2956, with a Final compressed to 4 days (11/07).
Manufacturer showdown banners and "Best In Show" renders
A series of advertising banners featuring duels between manufacturers (RSI vs. Aegis, Drake vs. Crusader, Esperia vs. Banu, among others) has been extracted from the game files, likely intended for staging the IAE's Ship Showdown tournament. "Best In Show" renders without livery, showing multiple candidate ships in neutral lighting, are also circulating on the same channels.

Details on PTU 4.10.3 build
Datamining confirms that the Polaris shield now bears a name, "Deterrent," and that the shield blueprint finally gives the correct part instead of the 890 Jump's. Another detail: it's indeed the "Target Shattered Blade" mission that offers the Skarnov rifle loader blueprint as a reward.
