PTU 4.10.3: Basher and Gatac Tyilui on Sale, Ironclad Prices Up, 12 Potential Fixes (November 7, 2026)

A new PTU 4.10.3 build, opened to all waves, puts the Grey's Basher and the Gatac Tyilui on sale and raises the aUEC prices of the Ironclads and the Tyilui. It brings a handling pass on 4.10 weapons, Vanduul Incursion adjustments, ground vehicle insurance and 12 potential fixes.

In the patch notes for the new PTU 4.10.3 build, posted last night for all tester waves, CIG details changes to stores, weapons, Vanduul Incursion and insurance. The day before, the team had warned on the official Discord channel that it was preparing "a new 4.10.3 build for a possible PTU update this weekend."

Stores and Prices: Basher, Tyilui and Ironclad

The Grey's Basher is now available at the Pyro Rundown Reststops. The Gatac Tyilui is sold at Astro Armada in Area18. Both ships have also been added to the Arena Commander inventory.

The aUEC prices of the Drake Ironclad, the Drake Ironclad Assault and the Gatac Tyilui are going up.

Weapons, Vanduul Incursion and Insurance

CIG is applying a handling pass to all 4.10 weapons to improve how they feel when firing. Several adjustments affect the Vanduul Incursion:

  • a new single-use entity generator type handles contract rewards from spawned ships. The Vanduul cryogel uses it and no longer behaves as if it were subject to gravity in space;
  • a crafting blueprint for the LBCO Skarnov rifle magazine has been created and added as a contract reward;
  • Vanduul now call out to each other during combat;
  • quantum station AI engages in combat without waiting to be targeted;
  • contract reputation is now shared equally among group members on shared contracts.

Two contracts have also been fixed. "Board" contracts no longer place the mission somewhere the player and their Caterpillar can be attacked right on arrival. "Neutralize the target" contracts no longer spawn an uncrewed Polaris as a target.

On the insurance side, ground vehicles and exo-suits can now be recovered through an insurance claim. This issue was among the known PTU limitations the day before.

The 12 Potential Fixes

The notes list twelve potential fixes:

  • footstep sounds that do not properly change material on certain surfaces;
  • loss of collision with one's own ship after leaving a seat, with ramps and elevators becoming non-solid;
  • numerous vehicles showing a placeholder status in the Fleet Manager and at ASOP terminals, unable to be delivered or retrieved;
  • placeholder spheres appearing instead of weapon racks on certain ships;
  • other players' vehicles visible in their instanced hangar once the doors open;
  • data assertion caused by a conflicting shield blueprint association;
  • the RSI Constellation Centaurus Mk V's remote turret losing its gimbal function;
  • MaxLift tractor beam and SRT Cambio variants impossible to place on the Bosco rack;
  • a blocked angle accessible aboard the Drake Caterpillar;
  • Argo Moth livery decals misaligned in the livery manager;
  • objects floating in the air once attached to a cargo elevator;
  • the Polaris size 4 shield generator showing an incorrect name and description.

Context

This build continues a busy testing cycle. PTU 4.10.3 opened to all waves on October 30, with the Vanduul Incursion and the LBCO Skarnov rifle. A November 5 build then rebalanced the Centaurus and the Polaris, moved the Starlancer, Perseus and Carrack radars to size 3, and confirmed increased buffer capacities on the five salvage ships.

On November 6, players spotted new ships in the in-game PTU stores. The Drake Ironclad (Levski) was listed at 11,773,279 aUEC and the Ironclad Assault (Pyro) at 15,137,073 aUEC. They noted these prices could change before Live, which the announced increase confirms for the Ironclads.

The same day, CIG opened a PTU test of Alpha 5.0, centered on Nyx I. In its Discord message, the team thanked the community for these tests and promised "more news soon on new PTU 5.0 builds." The 4.10.3 build therefore falls between the 5.0 test from the day before and the weekend update mentioned. The Reddit thread on the PTU Alpha 5.0 test from the day before continues to document it.

What We Still Don't Know

The twelve fixes are presented as potential. The next signal to watch is the "possible PTU update this weekend" announced on Discord, along with the upcoming PTU 5.0 builds the team promised.
