A Digital Goodies Pack in RSI Colors

What Changes for the Four Mk IVs

The four variants concerned are the Aquila, the Taurus, the Andromeda and the Phoenix. According to the email, the changes cover:

• better visibility from the cockpit;
• redesigned cockpits;
• additional lockers and weapon racks;
• full access to ship components.

The Phoenix, the luxury variant, also receives additional finishes. The email does not specify an in-game deployment date for these changes.

This message largely repeats information already released. On October 20, an official CIG video announced the update of the four Mk IV variants as part of the RSI Discovery Month. The Constellation Mk V Centaurus was announced about three weeks ago. The October Jump Point went behind the scenes of this ship and its embarked fighter, the Skylark.

On the version front, nothing changes: Live remains on Alpha 4.10.2 and PTU on Alpha 4.10.3. The announcement comes as the IAE approaches.

What We Still Don't Know

The main unknown remains the timeline. The email does not say whether the Mk IV overhauls will arrive in an upcoming patch or in which version. It also does not say whether they are already partially in the game.

The exact content of the Phoenix's additional paints and finishes is not detailed either. The next signals to watch are the PTU 4.10.3 patch notes and any following build, as well as CIG communications before and during the IAE.
