Genesis: Evocati datamine reveals the Career Board and a Starwear overhaul (October 5, 2026)
According to dataminers, the build used in Genesis' Evocati test (Planet Tech V5) contains a new local mission system, the “Career Board,” as well as a heavily reworked Starwear file. This data is neither official nor confirmed by CIG.
Following Genesis' first NDA Evocati test, dataminers published on October 4 the content they found in the build files. These elements do not come from a CIG communication: they may change or never reach the game. The most notable item is a mission system called the “Career Board,” along with an overhaul of armor and several additional content items.
The Career Board: locally generated missions
According to the build files, the Career Board is tied to Starchitect and Planet Tech V5. It would offer missions from local civilians or from existing guilds, on planets that have moved to the new pipeline. The title, description and client name would be randomly generated.
The mission types identified are the following:
- on-site download;
- server destruction;
- retrieval of goods or a family item;
- elimination of an isolated target;
- delivery from point A to one or more points;
- plant harvesting.
An Imperial cartography center would also offer survey, triangulation and probe deployment missions.
These local missions would be added to the existing contracts. The usual organizations (Covalex, Eckhart, FTL, Headhunters, Hockrow, Ling, Northrock and Redwind) would continue to offer their standard missions.
A Ling mission: deliver an Ursa under threat from a Cutlass Black
Among these missions, the Ling family would have a unique vehicle recovery mission. The player would have to deliver an Ursa while a Cutlass Black from Frontier Fighters chases them.
Starwear: reworked armor, fuses and RMC removed
The Starwear file has been heavily modified. According to the dataminers, all existing armor and outfits would have been reworked. Fuses and free RMC canisters would also have disappeared from the default ship inventory. The actual extent of the armor changes is not detailed.
Crafting stations, armor and liveries along the way
The same data contains other elements:
- Onboard crafting stations: the one on the Drake Clipper and the Ironclad Assault would craft FPS armor 30% faster than a standard crafting station. The Auxilia would receive a separate bonus, the nature of which is not specified.
- Four new armor sets: one unnamed model and three variants of the Morozov-SH-I set, namely a “Kalahari,” an unnamed one and a “Headstone.” The Kalahari could be sold in a future monthly bundle, according to the dataminers.
- Constellation Andromeda: five new liveries, with no official names. The file names suggest the themes Pirate, Highroller, Jumppoint, Emerald and UEE.
Context
In the night of October 2 to 3, CIG launched a first NDA Evocati test of Genesis, limited to Nyx I. The studio was checking the server load of WorldBuilder V5 and was seeking feedback on rendering, collisions and performance. It had specified that this version of Nyx I was intentionally empty, with no locations, missions or NPCs.
The test appears to have closed on the morning of October 3, according to several creators, without an official report from CIG. The creator X3NON notably published a video on the Starchitect buildings, shared on Reddit with captures of guild quests.
What we still don't know
None of this has been confirmed by CIG. It is unknown whether the Career Board will arrive with Genesis, in what form, and which planets will be affected. The nature of the Auxilia bonus, the final names of the armor and liveries, and the exact scope of the Starwear reworks remain unknown. No date has been announced for a next test round either.
The next signal to watch for is an official report on the first Evocati test or the announcement of a second round, which would allow these data to be cross-checked. A message from CIG about lifting the NDA would be another indication.
